Starting in pole position, Victor Martins (ART Grand Prix) outclassed his opponents to win race 1 this Saturday in Barcelona. The French driver finished with a comfortable cushion of 16 seconds ahead of his main pursuer Caio Collet (R-ace GP).
The Brazilian, author of a completely missed start, dropped back to 7th place at the first corner, before taking his opponents one by one up to 2nd position thanks to an excellent racing pace. Thanks to his comeback, the R-ace GP driver limits the damage to the championship, conceding only seven points to Martins, now in the lead with a nine-point lead.
