F3 Asia: Daruvala wins race 1, Hadjar on the podium

The pilots F2 have managed to show that they deserve their rank. Jehan Daruvala won race 1 of the F3 Asia in Abu Dhabi, where the French missed their departure. Second on the grid, Isack Hadjar was passed by Guanyu-Zhou at the start and found himself third. Pierre-Louis Chovet also lost two places to find himself sixth at the end of the first lap.

No problem, however, for Jehan Daruvala, who was easily able to maintain his position. The Indian driver controlled the race, while the Chinese found himself under intense pressure from Isack Hadjar at the end of the race. Zhou managed to hold on and Hadjar could even have seen Dino Beganovic return, but the Swedish driver retired in the final laps. Patrick Pasma finished fourth and Chovet fifth.

Isack Hadjar takes his second podium of the season in four races and proves that he is above the Japanese Ayumu Iwasa, who had dominated him in the French F4 championship. Unhappy, Pierre-Louis Chovet will be able to make up for it in race 3, where he will start from pole.

The big loser is above all the F2 driver Roy Nissany, 7th in the end. Note the fifteenth place of the third Frenchman, Alexandre Bardinon.
