Guanyu-Zhou (Abu Dhabi Racing Team) is definitely at ease on the Emirati track in Dubai. After having already taken pole during the inaugural round contested on the same track, the Chinese once again showed himself to be dominant this Friday by taking the two poles of the day.
The Chinese was impressive in Q2 by taking pole half a second ahead of his main pursuers. An appearance which should allow him to fully relaunch himself in the title race, he who is fifteen points behind French leader Pierre-Louis Chovet (Pinnacle Motorsport).
The Habs have also signed consistent qualifications. Since he will start 2nd in Race 1, just ahead of Ayumu Iwasa (Hitech) and 3rd in Race 2, this time behind the Japanese. For his first Asian meeting F3 after two weeks spent watching his future Prema team work, David Vidales (Abu Dhabi Racing Team) will start 8th and 6th.
For his part, Jehan Daruvala (Mumbai Falcons) could not do better than 4th and 9th and could lose big in the championship, he who occupies second place overall.
