F3 – C1: Norris transforms the try

Starting from pole, Lando Norris (Carlin) does not tremble at the start against Callum Ilott (Prema) who starts on the first row. The British driver made an error braking in Les Combes, leading to the retirement of Jake Hughes (Hitech GP) and the intervention of the safety car. The Prema driver suffers a pit stop which ruins his race.

At the restart, Maximilian Günther (Prema) failed to worry Norris and was even overtaken by Nikita mazepin for second place. At the back, the race is driven by the comebacks of Joey Mawson (Van Amersfoort) and Mick Schumacher (Prema), rising to 5e and 6e position starting beyond the top 10.

Norris finally won ahead of Mazepin, who scored his first podium in the category, and Günther. Jehan Daruvala (Carlin) is ahead of Mawson on the line, the two completing the rookie podium. Schumacher finishes 7e in front of Harrison Newey (Van Amersfoort). Ferdinand Habsburg (Carlin) and Joel Eriksson (Motopark) also managed to climb into the top 10 with Pedro Piquet (Van Amersfoort Racing).
