Starting from pole position, Joel Eriksson (Motopark) was never worried by his pursuer Callum Ilott (Prema) for the victory. Once the first lap was over, none of the places at the front of the peloton changed. Guan Yu Zhou (Prema) once again finished 3e after another bad start Lando Norris (Carlin) who finished 4e until the 5s penalty given to the Chinese for cutting the track, relegating him behind the Englishman.
David Beckmann (Motopark) achieved another top 5 ahead of his German compatriot Maximilian Günther (Prema). Jake Hughes (Hitech GP) was 7e ahead of Joey Mawson (Van Amersfoort) and Jehan Daruvala (Carlin). Nikita mazepin (Hitech) finished the top 10 in a race without retirement or collision.
At the end of this race, Joel Eriksson regains the lead of the championship ahead of Maximilian Günther and Callum Ilott.
