F3-C3: Günther and Stroll secure the Prema double

Beaten twice yesterday by his teammate Lance stroll, Maximilian Günther (Prema Powerteam) finally came to fruition this Sunday during the last round of the Nürburgring. If the German had the best start yesterday in race 2, he was unable to resist the Canadian at the end of the race.

Starting from pole position this morning, Günther did not tremble when the lights went out to beat Stroll at the first corner. Behind the Prema duo, Niko Kari (Motopark), 5th on the grid, carried out an excellent operation by gaining two positions against his teammate Joel Eriksson and Nick Cassidy (Prema Powerteam).

The leading trio will not move for the entire race, Stroll controlling the Finnish Kari for second place. Callum Ilott (Van Amersfoort Racing) finished 4th ahead of Cassidy and Eriksson. George Russell (Hitech GP) took 7th place ahead of Sergio Sette Camara (Motopark), who got the better of the Frenchman Anthoine Hubert (Van Amersfoort Racing) at the end of the race.

Ben Barnicoat (Hitech GP) finished in the top 10, ahead of Harrison Newey (Van Amersfoort Racing) who animated the debates in the peloton. With 364 points in the general classification before the meeting in Imola, Lance Stroll is in a very favorable position for the title before the Italian round (September 30 – October 2).
