The podium is exactly the same as that of Race 1 with a similar context. Carlos Sainz Jr (Carlin) who started from pole missed his start and was overtaken by Daniel Juncadella (Prema Powerteam) and Felix Rosenqvist (Mücke Motorsport). The program pilot Red Bull was nevertheless able to regain the advantage over the Swede a few meters further but was not able to directly threaten his compatriot even if he reduced his delay to seven tenths at the end of the 25 laps. The Prema Powerteam rider signs his second success in three races after his retirement in Race 2.
The Championship leader thus has 50 points, nine points ahead of his compatriot Carlos Sainz Jr. Felix Rosenqvist also had a good weekend, climbing to the last step of the podium three times. The Swede leaves with 38 points on the clock. Raffaele Marciello (Prema Powerateam), winner of Race 2 taking advantage of the reverse grid, was not successful this morning since he received a drive-through for having exceeded the limits of the track. The Italian finished in 13th place.
