F3/ Hockenheim: Juncadella takes C1

Started on pole in Race 1, Carlos Sainz Jr (Carlin) failed to resist the pressure from Daniel Juncadella (Prema Powerteam) who started from third place behind Felix Rosenqvist (Mücke Motorsport). The Spaniard won in front of his compatriot who was the only one to maintain contact with the leader without however managing to directly threaten him. The Swede completes the podium 16 seconds behind the winner.

William Buller (Carlin) ranks fourth ahead of Hannes van Asseldonk (Fortec Motorsport) and Raffaele Marciello (Prema Powerteam). Tom Blomqvist (ma-con Motorsport) finished seventh after starting from the back of the grid. Lucas Wolf (URD Rennsport) completes the top eight, ahead of Michael Lewis (Prema Powerteam) who performs poorly after starting from the second row. Alex Lynn (Fortec Motorsport) completes the top ten.
