F3 / Hockenheim: Marciello wins in C2

Taking advantage of the reverse grid of Race 2, Raffaele Marciello took advantage of a satisfactory third place which he took advantage of by making a lightning start leaving Tom Blomqvist (ma-con Motorsport) on the spot and being able to take the lead of the race by overtaking Lucas Wolf (URD Rennsport). The Prema Powerteam thus achieved its second success in a row after the victory of Daniel Juncadella in Race 1. The Italian finished with a lead of six seconds over the Dutchman Hannes van Asseldonk (Fortec Motorsport) who, starting from fourth position, took second place on the first lap. The two drivers who occupied the first row fell in the standings as the race progressed.

By starting from sixth position, Felix Rosenqvist (Mücke Motorsport) once again reached the last step of the podium after his third place in Race 1. The Swede is ahead of the Briton William Buller (Carlin) and Carlos Sainz Jr (Carlin), poleman of Races 1 and 3 who took second place during the first event. Sven Müller (Prema Powerteam) took sixth place ahead of Lucas Wolf (URD Rennsport) and Alex Lynn (Fortec Motorsport). Daniel Juncadella (Prema Powerteam), the winner of Race 1, moved up to fourth position before retiring following contact with the Dallara F312 Mercedes by Sven Muller.
