F3 – Will the Red Bull Ring give wings to Esteban Ocon?

With 116 points ahead before attacking the three races of the Austrian round of the calendar F3 European next weekend on the Red Bull Spielberg Ring in Austria, Esteban Ocon can see it coming. His recent demonstration at the Moscow Raceway, with three victories in as many races in Russia, ended the streak of his main rival overall, the Dutchman Max Verstappen (Van Amersfoort Racing) who remained on six consecutive victories, and had considerably reduced the gap with the Frenchman in the championship before Ocon's solo ride in Moscow.

But the Prema Powerteam driver will also have to be very wary of the Swede Felix Rosenqvist (Mücke Motorsport), who achieved the hat-trick in Austria last year. Left behind in the championship (7th), the 2013 vice-champion will try to repeat his performance from last year, he who has almost no more hopes of a title.

The first F3 free practice sessions will take place on Friday at 13:45 p.m. before the first qualifying at 18:45 p.m.
