F3: the British want to shine

Jules Bianchi, at Brands Hatch, will be the man to beat. During the first race of the weekend, the Frenchman will start with a series of five consecutive victories in the exercise. But, in addition to his usual rivals, such as Christian Vietoris or Jean-Karl Vernay, the Frenchman will be under threat from British drivers, who will want to perform for the only weekend of F3 Euro Series being played in Great Britain.

Sam Bird, Alexander Sims and Nick Tandy will therefore all three be motivated like never before this season, even if it is never easy to be a prophet in your country. The first two are the best placed, being at the wheel of a car prepared by the very efficient Mücke Motorsport team. Sixth in the championship, Sam Bird has three podiums while rookie Alexander Sims, seventh in the standings, took his first victory three weeks ago at the Nürburgring.

The latter is also very confident before heading into the race weekend on this emblematic circuit. “ On the one hand, I am at home, and on the other hand, I like this circuit. I love the Paddock Hill corner, it's a real challenge. Many of my friends and sponsors will be there, and I would of course like to offer them a victory. As overtaking is almost impossible, pole would be the ideal starting point. So I'm going to give my best to be the fastest in qualifying. » F3 Euro Series drivers will have the opportunity to drive on the circuit on Friday from 13 p.m., for free practice.
