F3 – Max Verstappen wins 2 poles at the Norisring

Max Verstappen is irresistible right now. After signing his fourth consecutive victory on the Norisring circuit at the end of Race 1, the Dutchman won two new poles during the second qualifying session where the two best times determine the grids for the last two races of the weekend. By achieving a reference time of 48”118, the Dutchman won with less than a tenth ahead of Esteban Ocon (Prema Powerteam) which will complete the first line. Tom Blomqvist (Jagonya Ayam with Carlin) and Felix Rosenqvist (Mücke Motorsport), the pole sitter for Race 1, will follow on the second row ahead of Santino Ferrucci (Eurointernational) and Jordan King (Carlin).

The Van Amersfoort Racing resident will also have the privilege of starting from first place in Race 3 thanks to his second best time achieved before the arrival of the rain. Tom Blomqvist fell just four hundredths behind, while Felix Rosenqvist and Esteban Ocon followed behind, finishing less than a tenth behind. Santino Ferracci will once again start from the third row alongside Jordan King who set the fifth fastest time.
