F3 – Ryan Tveter joins the Carlin team

British outfit Carlin completes its lines for the 3 F2015 European Championship with the arrival of 20-year-old American driver Ryan Tveter.

F3 – Ryan Tveter joins the Carlin team

Alongside the British George Russell, the young American Ryan Twitter, 20 years old, will join his compatriot Gustavo Menezes within the training Carlin, to argue the European Championship of F3 2015. Aligned in Formula Renault 2.0, both in the Eurocup and in the NEC championship in 2014, Tveter took part in end-of-season testing with Carlin.

“It’s great to join Carlin for the 2015 Formula 3 season, explains Tveter. My first time in the car F3 with Carlin was at Silverstone at the beginning of December. I immediately felt very comfortable in the car and the professionalism and experience of the team really helped me to be very fast straight away. There were a lot of drivers chasing the same seats and the competition during practice was intense, but I'm so happy to have gained a place. Joining F3 with the most successful team in the Junior single-seater categories is an important milestone and I am working very hard for the upcoming season. »

“I have to say we have been very impressed with Ryan's performance so far, admits Trevor Carlin, the team boss. Not only is his pace excellent, but Ryan also has a good approach and the right attitude. He wants to learn and he wants to win. We believe that with Ryan's ethics and application, he will be a competitive driver this season. »
