F3 – Signature aligns Dorian Boccolacci and Alex Albon

Signature F3 returns full-time to the discipline after a two-year break. Philippe Sinault's team has confirmed Alex Albon and Dorian Boccolacci, two members of the Lotus F1 Junior Team, for the full season. The 18-year-old Thai trained in Formula Renault 2.0 NEC, while the 16-year-old Frenchman is the reigning vice-champion of the French F4 Championship. “The first runs went well”, said the director of Signature. “Dorian and Alexander were discovering F3, the team and they acclimatized very well to their new environment. In view of their performances and their involvement, their ambition is to follow in the footsteps ofEsteban Ocon, winner of the 2014 Championship.”

After an unsuccessful attempt at Renault, Signature F3 will motorize its Dallara with Volkswagen blocks. “Last year, at the end of the season, we managed to come back with an efficient technical package and be in the match from the start. Two cars is a good format to compete in the F3 European Championship, with why not a third car if we find a quality driver. I would also like to thank our partners without whom the F3 adventure could not have restarted”, added Philippe Sinault.
