The Grand Prix paddock Formula 1 will probably get to know Oliver Bearman in 2022. The 16-year-old British boy will discover the F1 environment by taking part in the FIA season Formula 3 within the reference stable, Prema.
The teenager is coming off a double title won in German and Italian Formula 4 in 2021, while winning 17 races and reaching a podium 26 times, an unprecedented feat in this level of the pyramid of promotional formulas.

Proof of his pedigree, he voluntarily skips the Regional Formula box by Alpine (FRECA). And to think that in the winter of 2020, it was still evolving karting (2nd in the Iame Winter Cup in the X30 Senior category)! In addition, Ferrari decided to enroll him in its young driver academy to help him learn.
“I’m really looking forward to moving into FIA F3 with Prema, as this is my first official year within the Ferrari Driver Academy. We worked very well together during the post-season tests in Valencia, and their results in previous years in everything they do, speak for themselves, rejoices Oliver Bearman. I can't wait to start in Bahrain! »
His new boss, Rene Rosin, is full of praise for his new foal. “We look forward to working with Oliver in 2022. The results he achieved this year speak for themselves, and we obviously watched him as he was in an opposing lineup. The step for him will be huge and particularly difficult, with a lot to learn, but we will do everything we can to help him maximize his potential and be competitive from the start. It will be extremely interesting to see the season unfold and what we can accomplish together. »
