Bianchi keeps his hand

Jules Bianchi knows how to assume his status. Elevated to the rank of favorite for the title of champion of F3 Euro Series, notably after his success at Zandvoort (pole position and two victories), the Niçois has already won five races in five weekends, including four successes during the Saturday races, those which offer ten points to the winner. In the sixth round of this season, Jules Bianchi will once again start at the head of the field on Saturday morning, bidding for a fifth victory in the first race of the weekend.

However, the start of the qualifying session was lively by the Finnish drivers. Mika Mäki, then especially Valtteri Bottas quickly placed themselves at the forefront. The solid rookie from the ART Grand Prix team also had the best time after twenty minutes of the session, ahead of Jules Bianchi. But the Niçois was able to come out of his reserve to validate a superb time, the Niçois being the only one to go below 1:23??, in 1:22??823. The ART Grand Prix driver saw his teammates follow suit, with Esteban Gutierrez and Valtteri Bottas completing the podium. Saturday morning, at 11:40 a.m., Jules Bianchi will once again be the favorite of the race. The Nice native did not hide his joy at the end of the qualifying session. “ I am very happy with my pole position. But I think I was also a little luckier than Esteban. After the test this afternoon (Friday), when I only managed to occupy eighth place, we worked a lot. It was worth it. »
