Bianchi, new F3 boss

The championship of Formula 3 is taking on blue, white, red colors. After Vernay's success at Hockenheim, Bianchi adds a new French victory in F3 EuroSeries, at Lausitz. Starting in second position behind his teammate at ART Grand Prix, Valtteri Bottas, Jules Bianchi was able to get the better of the Finn from the seventh round to fly to a deserved victory. Bottas, rookie this season, is not left out since he ranks behind the Frenchman, offering a magnificent double for the French team. The podium is completed by another “Blue”, Jean-Karl Vernay, who had already distinguished himself at Hockenheim.

In the general classification of the championship, the two French people are in the lead. Holder, thanks to the ten points of victory, of 18 points, Jules Bianchi is the leader of the field, with three points ahead of Jean-Karl Vernay. After three races in Formula 3 EuroSeries, the results are very good for the French teams and their drivers, who have enjoyed good results since the start of the season. Twice fifth at Hockenheim, Bianchi finally got on the podium, and on the highest step. Enough to foresee the rest of the season with great optimism for the driver of the ART GP team: “ I am delighted with my first victory of the season and to be at the top of the standings, which is very important for me. After the opening race a fortnight ago at Hockenheim, we worked on the car, which was already going much better. A mistake from Valtteri allowed me to overtake him, and I hope to score more points tomorrow »

As for Vernay, after his nine points (3+6) at Hockenheim, he capitalizes once again, after showing his consistency during free practice and qualifying. “ Third and six points again, it?s a good result. My goal is to be regularly near the podium and to score points consistently. At the start, I was a little faster than the cars in front of me, but here it is difficult to overtake if the driver in front doesn't make a mistake. » The second race can allow Vernay to confirm his talent, Sunday, from 10:30 a.m.
