Sébastien Bourdais is making headlines at the end of the month. The day after his victory at the 24 Hours of Daytona, the four-time Champ Car champion was announced in the Formula E Driver's Club, which corresponds to the list of contenders for a steering wheel in this new electric single-seater championship (Spark-Renault SRT_01E). “Formula E is a truly exciting project and a real innovation in motorsport. It's not often that we have the chance to participate in the development of new technologies. I would be very happy if I could discover the car and start rolling in September. The best way to do this is to be part of the Driver's Club. »
The Frenchman is not the only new driver announced since Bruno Senna, Oriol Servia, Daniel Abt, Narain Karthikeyan, Christijan Albers, Franck Montagny and John R. Hildebrand Jr are also present. Marco Andretti, Sébastien Buemi, Karun Chandhok, Lucas di Grassi, Ma Qing Hua, Vitantonio Liuzzi, Takuma Sato and Adrien Tambay were previously announced. The Driver's Club now includes 16 drivers.
