C1: Schumacher escapes chaos and pockets a 4th victory

The start of the race was marked by a pile-up at the first corner initially involving Alex Palou (Hitech GP) and Marino Sato (Motopark) before hitting three other drivers who were forced to retire.

At the restart, Mick Schumacher (Prema Racing), then second, took first place from Robert Shwartzman and despite the pressure exerted by the Russian throughout the event, the young German did not give up until the checkered flag to register his 4e victory of the season in 4 rounds.

Dan Ticktum returns to the podium, the Motopark rider finishing 3e ahead of Enaam Ahmed (Hitech GP) and Ralf Aron (Prema Racing). Marcus Armstrong makes one of the race's comebacks after a 10-place grid penalty, with the Prema driver crossing the line in 6e position in front of his teammate Guan yu Zhou.

Jonathan Aberdein (Motopark) finishes the event in 8the position ahead of Ben Hingeley (Hitech GP) and Keyvan Andres Soori (VAR) who complete the top 10. Sacha Fenestration (Carlin) found himself a collateral victim of the first lap accident and finished in 12e position.
