C1 – Ticktum passes Fenestraz to win at home

Starting from pole position, Sacha fenestraz (Carlin) from the first rounds suffered pressure from Daniel Ticktum (Motopark), the British rider having taken second place in Guan yu Zhou (Prema Racing) before the end of the first loop.

If Fenestraz's defense was effective for the majority of the race, he ultimately could not resist Ticktum, much faster, who passed him five minutes from the end of the race while, at the same time, Zhou was the victim of 'a puncture similar to that experienced by his teammate Mick Schumacher earlier in the race.

Thanks to a fourth victory this year, Daniel Ticktum regains the lead in the championship. He won the race ahead of Sacha Fenestraz who returned to the podium for the first time since the first meeting in Pau.

Enaam Ahmed (Hitech GP) finishes 3e taking advantage of a poor restart from Jonathan Aberdein (Motopark) after an FCY caused by Ralf Aron (Prema Racing) going off the track in the final minutes. Jüri Vips (Motopark) finishes 4e in front of his South African teammate.

Marcus Armstrong (Prema Racing) cannot do better than 6e after failed qualifications. He finished ahead of Alex Palou (Hitech GP) and Robert Shwartzman (Prema Racing). Jehan Daruvala (Carlin) and Fabio Scherer (Motopark) complete the top 10 in the first race of the weekend at Silverstone.
