C2: New victory for Aron for a Prema hat-trick
The race was interrupted with a safety car on the first lap following three incidents. The first involves Ralph Aron (Prema), Dan Ticktum (Motopark) and Mick Schumacher (Prema) arriving three abreast at the start of Tarzan before the German pilot was crushed in the gravel trap.
Further on, a contact between Jehan Daruvala (Carlin) and Enaam Ahmed (Hitech GP) ended the English driver's race and a final collision between Ben Hingeley (Hitech GP) and Ameya Vaidyanathan (Carlin) concluded a complicated first lap.
After five minutes, the race resumes its rights as Dan Ticktum loses two places at once against the Prema of Marcus Armstrong and Guan Yu Zhou. The race goes from bad to worse for the driver Red Bull who lost several places in the last minutes of the race.
It was ultimately Ralf Aron who won once again on the Zandvoort circuit in front of two of his teammates: Marcus Armstrong, best rookie, and Guan Yu Zhou. Alex Palou (Hitech GP) finishes 4e ahead of Ferdinand Habsburg (Carlin) and Daniel Ticktum. Robert Shwartzman (Prema) ranks 7th and is ahead of the Motopark of Jüri Vips, Fabio Scherer and Marino Sato who complete the top 10 in a group shot. Author of a great comeback, Sacha fenestraz (Carlin) ranks 12e.
