Caio Collet wins at Magny-Cours

As expected, everything was decided when braking for the first corner. Caio Collet made a perfect start and quickly sheltered himself from any attack. On the other hand, Victor Martins (ART GP) just behind him gave in to the onslaught of David Vidales (JD Motorsport).

There you have it, the podium was drawn. The Spaniard then came under pressure from the Frenchman at the start of the race but was able to stay in front without any real difficulty, Victor Martins not having been able to attempt an attack.

The Swiss Grégoire Saucy (ART GP) finished fourth ahead of Alex Quinn (Arden).

The race was not kind to everyone since Hadrien David had to retire on the second lap after a collision at the hairpin. Franco Colapinto (Mp Motorsport) for his part made a short trip to the pits, which cost him a good result just like Amaury Cordeel.

Caio Collet's success allows him to regain the championship lead from Victor Martins before the second race of the weekend on Sunday.
