Dennis Hauger dominates Leclerc on a wet Hungarian turnstile and flies to the championship

No matter the circuits, no matter the conditions, Dennis Hauger (Prema) is always there to shine. The Norwegian secured his third victory of the season by dominating the main race in Hungary on Sunday. Started second behind his teammate Arthur Leclerc (Prema), the driver Red Bull masterfully passed him in the 9th round to secure victory. The Prema driver is literally flying into the championship as he is now sixty points ahead of Jack Doohan (Trident), third in the race and closest in the standings.

We imagined that the wet conditions on the Hungarian track would provide a little more spectacle on the track compared to the two races on Saturday. But it was nothing of the sort. Apart from Hauger's victory over Leclerc, the top 7 remained unchanged from the start of the race. Behind the two Premas, the three Tridents of Doohan, Schumacher and Novalak follow each other in the top 5, ahead of an ART Grand Prix Smolyar-Vesti ticket.

On the French side, with the exception of Novalak's fifth place, Victor Martins (MP Motorsport) took 26th position. Starting 24th, the Habs made a mistake in the first lap by trying to get past Oliver Rasmussen. He lost all traction and ended up with his nose in the wall. His compatriot Reshad de Gerus (Charouz) finished 20th. Hard blow to the championship for Martins, who goes on a fifth race in a row without points and who loses his 5th place overall.
