While Victor Martins can be titled this weekend if he takes 17 points from Caio Collet, the Brazilian does not intend to make life easier for the Frenchman. The R-Ace GP driver took pole position for race 1 (16:10 p.m. this Saturday) ahead of his great rival by 0. The two men will start just ahead of Alex Quinn (Arden) who confirms his superb end to the season.
This is the third time this year that Auriverde will start at the front. The two previous times, he had been able to convert them into victory. Paul Aron (ART Grand Prix) took a good 4th place, just ahead of Franco Colapinto (MP Motorsport). Hadrien David (MP Motorsport) set the 7th fastest time of the session ahead of Grégoire Saucy (ART Grand Prix) and his compatriot Reshad de Gerus (Arden).
Poleman at Imola last week, Lorenzo Colombo (Bhaitech) will only start 14th, just behind David Vidales (JD Motorsport) who is going through a complicated end to the season after his two retirements in Italy last week.
