We have to go back to last July and the Imola meeting to find traces of a race won by a driver whose name is neither Victor Martins nor Caio Collet. David Vidales (JD Motorsport) then signed a double for his first in the category.
As at Magny-Cours during the last round, Caio Collet and Victor Martins each shared a pole position and a victory this weekend, with the Brazilian winning race 2. The two men are accompanied on the podium by Franco Colapinto (MP Motorsport).
Starting from pole, the R-ace GP driver managed his start perfectly, leaving no chance for Martins to surprise him. The French driver, on the other hand, was overtaken by Paul Aron after turn 3 on the first lap, before recovering his position two laps later.
With a delay of three seconds compared to Collet, Martins gradually caught up but was never really able to get back on the pilot Renault. In the championship, with a first and a second place each, the operation is void and the Frenchman maintains his two points lead at the top of the ranking.
Starting 15th after a mechanical problem in Qualifying, Hadrien David (MP Motorsport) finished 11th. Reshad de Gerus (Arden) is 14th.
