Author of the two pole positions of the weekend in Germany, Victor Martins has already converted the first into victory this Saturday, at the end of race 1 of the Nürburgring round of the Eurocup. After having perfectly resisted the attack of Lorenzo Colombo (Bhaitech) at the first turn, the Frenchman took cover while trying to keep the Italian at 1 seconds, in a race where overtaking was been very rare.
David Vidales (JD Motorsport) completes the podium after taking advantage of a bad start from Caio Collet (R-Ace GP). The Brazilian, championship leader, missed the start and slipped to 6th place at the first turn after starting from the second row (3rd). He finished in 6th position, behind Grégoire Saucy (ART Grand Prix) and William Alatalo (JD Motorsport).
Great operation, therefore, for Victor Martins, who comes back to eight small units of Collet in the championship thanks to his first victory of the season. For the other two French people, however, the race was more complicated. Hadrien David (MP Motorsport) finished 14th, after starting one place higher. Reshad de Gerus (Arden) took 15th place in the race.
