That's what we call having a weakness for the track. A year after having already signed the two pole positions at the Barcelona meeting, Victor Martins (ART Grand Prix) signed a fourth pole in a row on this Catalan track after the one he had already achieved in 2018. He will start in front of Caio Collet (R-ace GP), his runner-up in the championship and ahead of Franco Colapinto (MP Motorsport), back at the front.
Excellent qualification from Switzerland's Grégoire Saucy as well, even if he was unable to improve his mark in the last lap due to a small error. The reigning French F4 champion Hadrien David finished 9th, with quite a few regrets since he was in the same tenth as Amaury Cordeel (FA Racing) 6th.
Third in the championship and at home, David Vidales (JD Motorsport) disappointed with only 13th position. He will start behind his teammate William Alatalo (12th) and Paul Aron (ART Grand Prix, 13th). The other Frenchman Reshad de Gerus (Arden) will start 15th.
