Eurocup: Victor Martins wins race 1 at Zandvoort

And four for Victor Martins! The ART Grand Prix driver won race 1 of the Zandvoort meeting this Saturday. Starting from pole position, the Frenchman was able to be aggressive at the start to resist Caio Collet (R-ace GP), who had managed to get up to him at the first corner.

Behind, Martins managed to create a gap thanks to his race pace, to leave his rival two seconds until the end of the race. As often, it is the Spaniard David Vidales (JD Motorsport) who accompanies the two men on the podium, thanks to his overtaking Petr Ptacek (R-ace GP) approaching the banking (turn 3), in the first round.

The unfortunate man of the day, on the other hand, is called Hadrien David (MP Motorsport). The French F4 champion, who had signed his best qualification of the season (5th) in the morning, remained stuck on the grid when setting off for the formation lap, obviously due to a problem with the accelerator. Starting from the pit lane with a big delay, he managed to catch up with the peloton to finally finish 16th.
