F. Renault Eurocup: De Gerus signs with Arden
It's rare enough to be highlighted: a driver from Reunion Island will participate in Formula Renault Eurocup in 2020. Reshad de Gerus, aged 16, joins the Arden team after successful 2019 post-season testing in Abu Dhabi.
“Last season was a promising step for the team and I am confident that we can continue this momentum in 2020,” explains the outgoing vice-champion of Formula 4 France.
Getting behind the wheel of a Formula 3 will be one of the most important challenges of his young career. “The Formula Renault Eurocup is a very tough championship and a brand new car for me, but testing has been promising so far and I am confident we will arrive at Monza for the opening round in good shape. »
Ben Salter, Arden's team manager in this one-make championship, noted “Very impressive progress in French F4 over the last two years. It will be a tough competition but Reshad is ready for it. »
