F2: Lancaster aims for F1 test with Williams

The 22-year-old Briton Jon Lancaster is entering Formula 2. Absent from the first round, he nevertheless aims for the title only to be rewarded with a drive at Williams during the Rookie tests.

F2: Lancaster aims for F1 test with Williams

Eurocup Formula runner-up Renault 2.0 in 2007 and 12th in the F3 Euroseries the following year, Jon Lancaster then competed in two seasons of Formula Renault 3.5 Series where he scored three podiums including one victory. This season, he joins the ranks of the Formula 2. Although he missed the opening round at Silverstone, the Briton's ambition is nothing more and nothing less than winning the title. He will make his debut in the discipline this weekend at Magny-Cours.
