The Prema Powerteam achieves a superb result at the end of the qualifications of the F3 European Championship played at Brands Hatch. Alex Lynn took pole for all three races of the weekend, beating his teammate Raffaele Marciello at the top of the Championship by just a few thousandths. If the Italian will start on the front row, Lucas Auer has also been consistent since he will start each time in third position behind his teammates. Sven Müller (Ma-Con) secured the second row for the first two races, while Harry Tincknell (Carlin) secured fourth place for Race 3.
Qualifying at Brands Hatch was disrupted by the violent exit from the track of Michael Lewis (Mücke Motorsports) who made a mistake in Paddock Hill Bend. Although the American remained conscious, emergency services took around twenty minutes to evacuate him. The resident of the British stable was taken to hospital.
