Starting from pole in Race 2 at the Norisring with his teammate Callum Ilott's penalty, Anthoine Hubert (Van Amersfoort Racing) retained the advantage to take his first victory in F3 European Championship
The Frenchman had a hard time facing Lance stroll (Prema Powerteam) who kept the pressure on the leader during the 36 laps of the race, the French driver not being able to create a gap due to three interruptions caused by pileups in the peloton involving at least seven drivers.
Maximilian Günther (Prema Powerteam) completes the podium after resisting the attacks of Joel Eriksson (Motopark). The Swede finally took fifth place behind Nick Cassidy (Prema Powerteam) who only started from 19th position.
With Callum Ilott's seventh place, Lance Stroll now has a 71-point lead in the Championship. Maximilian Günther became his main opponent.
