F3 Asia: first victory for Pasma, Chovet 3rd

It is true that the Regional Formula games are not the most spectacular in the world. But this race 2 of the penultimate round of this Asian F3 will silence some detractors. As he raced towards victory after taking pole, Indian Kush Maini (Mumbai Falcons) opened the door for Patrik Pasma (Evans GP) and passed ten minutes from time.

After scoring his first podium on Friday, Finnish Pasma took the opportunity to score his first victory of the winter. He got ahead Guanyu-Zhou (Abu Dhabi Racing Team) and Pierre-Louis Chovet (Pinnacle Motorsport). The two men took advantage of a clash between Roy Nissany (Hitech), author of a superb start to the race, and Kush Maini (Mumbai Falcons), during which the Israeli harpooned the Indian.

Before that, PLC, who started 4th, had once again managed to get the better of Zhou at the start, in the same way that he put him to sleep the day before in Race 1 to take the lead of the race and win it. But this time the Chinese responded by diving inside a few curves later.

The big loser of the day in the championship is Jehan Daruvala, definitely more comfortable in Abu Dhabi than in Dubai. Victim of a collision, the Indian found himself at the back of the grid before moving up to 12th position. But he scores no points and is now 21 points behind Zhou and above all 40 behind the Frenchman Pierre-Louis Chovet, comfortably installed at the top of the championship.
