F3-C1: Blomqvist wins ahead of Ocon in Hungary

Tom Blomqvist (Jagonya Ayam with Carlin) scored his third victory of the season by winning Race 1 of the F3 European Championship played at the Hungaroring. Starting in second position, the Briton took the advantage at the start taking advantage of a poor startEsteban Ocon (Prema Powerteam). The Championship leader fell to fourth place before benefiting from an error Max Verstappen (Van Amersfoort Racing) and Lucas Auer (Mücke Motorsport). The Lotus Junior Team resident F1 maintains a lead of 50 points over the winner who is his closest opponent.

Felix Rosenqvist (Mücke Motorsport) completes the podium ahead of Lucas Auer and Jordan King (Carlin). Max Verstappen (Van Amersfoort Racing) was in third position before having to retire following a mechanical problem. Jules Szymkowiak (Van Amersfoort Racing) took a convincing sixth place, having benefited from numerous penalties imposed for exceeding the track limits. The Dutchman is ahead of Félix Serrallés (Team West-Tec F3) and Dennis van de Laar (Prema Powerteam).
