F3-C1: Günther wins and returns to the championship

Starting from pole, Maximilian Gunther (Prema) was not worried by Jakes Hughes (Hitech GP) behind him. The Briton benefited from the penalty imposed on Joey Mawson (Van Amersfoort) which made him start from 5e place. The Birmingham native retained his 2nd place despite the pressure exerted by Jehan Daruvala (Carlin) who was 3rd third and first rookie.

Joey Mawson finished 4th after overtaking Callum Ilott (Prema). Harrison Newey (Van Amersfoort) took advantage of the collision between Ralf Aron (Hitech GP) and Pedro Piquet (Van Amersfoort) in front of him to move up to 6e position.

The pilot Ferrari Guan Yu Zhou (Prema) finished 7e before Lando Norris (Pug). Mick Schumacher (Prema) and Joel Eriksson (Motopark), started 17e, completed the top 10. This victory allows Günther to move back to the top of the drivers' championship.
