F3 – C1: Raffaele Marciello alone in the world at Hockenheim

Like a fish in water. Raffaele Marciello takes first victory of three FIA races F3 European this weekend at Hockenheim. The Italian from the Prema team Mercedes was simply impressive and untouchable in the rain. At the end of the first lap marked by the bad start of Lucas Aueur, who started from 3rd place, and the spin of Alex Lynn, who started in second position, Marciello was already 5 seconds ahead of his closest pursuer!

The Italian was so much ahead of the others that he was even able to make a mistake which would have cost him dearly in other conditions: at the start of the 9th lap, too much on the attack, the leader of the Drivers classification was made a mistake and spun. Once back on track, he still had a 15-second lead after his mistake. Refocused, he crossed the finish line with 14 over the American Félix Serrallés (Fortec Motorsports) and 834 and over the Swede, who races under a British license, Tom Blomqvist (Eurointernational-Mercedes).

With this new success, the fourth since the start of the season, Raffaele Marciello further increases his lead at the top of the Drivers' championship.
