F3 – C2: First victory for Habsburg

Starting from pole position, Lando Norris (Carlin) does not have the same luck as in the first race and is eliminated at the Combes corner after a collision with Guan Yu Zhou (Prema Powerteam). This leaves the field open for the Prema of Callum Ilott and Maximilian Günther to exchange leadership during the first 10 minutes.

At the same time, Ferdinand Habsburg (Carlin) begins his ascent from 8e place and take 5e place in the third round. Thanks to better tire conservation, he erased his opponents one by one until overtaking Günther for the race lead at the start of the last ten minutes. He is not the only one to make a comeback since Joel Eriksson (Motopark), started 11e, moves up to second position.

At the finish, the podium is made up of Ferdinand Habsburg, Joel Eriksson and Maximilian Günther. The Hitech GPs of Jake Hughes and Nikita mazepin failed at the gates of the podium in front of Jehan Daruvala (Carlin), best rookie of the race. After being on the provisional podium, Ilott and Ralf Aron (Hitech GP) tumble to the 7e and 8e rank at the finish. Mick Schumacher (Prema) and Joey Mawson (Van Amersfoort) complete the top 10 and the rookie podium.
