F3-C2: Raffaele Marciello responds to Alex Lynn

Raffaele Marciello did not let his teammate Alex Lynn take the lead like the local driver did in Race 1 at Brands Hatch. The two Prema Powerteam drivers started on the front row again and it was the Championship leader who took the advantage when the lights went out by getting a better start than the Briton. The resident of the Ferrari Driver Academy retained the lead of the race throughout the 51 laps to claim another victory and further increase its lead in the Championship. Alex Lynn lost almost three seconds behind while Lucas Auer took another third place, giving the Prema Powerteam the second consecutive hat-trick.

Sven Müller (ma-con) this time managed to take the points for fourth place, not without having fought for a long time against the Austrian. Felix Rosenqvist (Mücke Motorsport) completes the top five, but the Swede sees his rival Raffaele Marciello take a further lead in the Drivers' standings with 92,5 points behind.

Race 3 of the F3 European Championship will be played tomorrow at 12:05 p.m.
