F3-C2: Russell for a first in Pau

In much milder conditions than in race 1, George Russell offered a second success to the Hitech GP team this Saturday in the streets of Pau. The Briton, who started from pole, mastered the various interventions of the safety car to win under the checkered flag ahead of Sergio Sette Camara (Motopark).

If Russell was never worried, Sette Camara took advantage of a bad start from Callum Ilott (Van Amersfoort Racing) to climb to the front, without however being able to threaten the leader. The podium is completed by Ilott in front Lance stroll (Prema Powerteam) and Race 1 winner Ben Barnicoat (Hitech GP).

Anthoine Hubert (Van Amersfoort Racing) finished 7th in this second round. The last round of the weekend, which will serve as the framework for the Pau Grand Prix, will begin tomorrow at 15:15 p.m. with Alessio Lorandi (Carlin) on pole.
