F3 – C3: Günther wins the last race of the season

Starting from pole position, Maximilian Gunther (Prema Powerteam) took advantage of the difficulties of Callum Ilott (Prema Powerteam) to take the lead ahead of Joel Eriksson (Motopark). Lando Norris (Carlin), poorly qualified, manages to move up to 5e position from the first round. After coming up against his compatriot Jake Hughes (Hitech GP) for around ten laps, he managed to gain the upper hand for 4e instead.

The race was interrupted by a Full Course Yellow following Ferdinand Habsbourg (Carlin) going off the track. At the green flag, the two leaders have already taken off and Guan Yu Zhou (Prema Powerteam) fails to keep pace until being caught by Norris but without being overtaken.

This victory for Maximilian Günther, however, does not allow him to regain 2e place in the championship which he must cede to Joel Eriksson, author of a very good end to the season. Guan Yu Zhou finishes 3e of the race ahead of Norris who sealed the rookie title, Ilott and Hughes. Pedro Piquet (VAR) finishes 7e before Nikita mazepin (Hitech GP). Joey Mawson (VAR) and David Beckmann (Motopark) complete the top 10.
