Jake Hughes (HitechGP) enters the top 5 ahead of Pedro Piquet (Van Amersfoort Racing) and Harrison Newey (Van Amersfoort Racing). Ralf Aron (HitechGP) follows in the standings after being involved in a long fight with Joey Mawson (Van Amersfoort Racing) and Nikita mazepin (HitechGP), the latter two attempting several times to pass Aron at the first Tarzan corner, without success.

Mick Schumacher (Prema Powerteam) fails at the gates of the top 10. Callum Ilott (Prema Powerteam), returned to the pits to change the nose before his car during the race, finally gave up before the finish.
