F3-C3: Lucas Auer last winner at Hockenheim

Lucas Auer (Mücke Motorsport) won the 33rd and final race of the season F3 European Championship after starting from third position. The Austrian managed to take the lead over pole sitter Tom Blomqvist (Jagonya Ayam with Carlin), winner of Race 2, who finally climbed to the last step of the podium after also losing to Jordan King (Carlin).

However, Tom Blomqvist retains the honorary title of vice-champion against Max Verstappen (Van Amersfoort Racing) who had to settle for sixth place after only starting from eighth place. The future pilot Toro Rosso, who finished behind Felix Rosenqvist (Mücke Motorsport) and Antonio Giovinazzi (Jagonya Ayam with Carlin), nevertheless delivered a superb duel against the champion Esteban Ocon (Prema Powerteam) who finished behind the Dutchman. The two great adversaries of the season fought wheel to wheel, taking care to avoid any contact.
