F3 – C3: Norris pockets a ninth victory

Starting from second position, Norris remains behind Callum Ilott (Prema) until the safety car enters the track to evacuate the cars of Ferdinand Habsbourg (Carlin) and Guan Yu Zhou (Prema) in the gravel trap at the first turn.

At the restart, contact between the two Britons allowed Norris to take the advantage over Ilott who fell to 4e place. Several incidents punctuated the race until the collision between Joey Mawson (VAR) and David Beckmann (Motopark) two minutes from the end of time.

Lando Norris won his ninth victory of the season ahead of Jake Hughes (Hitech GP) who concluded a very good weekend with a third podium, and Ralf Aron (Hitech GP). Ilott finishes 4e ahead of Jehan Daruvala (Carlin) and Harrison Newey (VAR).

Maximilian Günther (Prema) signs his first points of the weekend in 7e position and in front of Joel Eriksson (Motopark). Max Defourny (VAR) ends the weekend in the points and in the top 3 rookies ahead Nikita mazepin (Hitech GP) and Sacha Fenestraz (Carlin).

The results of this race remain provisional since Daruvala, Florescu, Schumacher, Defourny, Piquet, Mazepin, Beckmann, Mawson, Ilott and Norris are under investigation for various incidents during the race.
