F3-C3: Verstappen ahead of Ocon at Hockenheim

Max Verstappen (Van Amersfoort Racing) achieves its first success in F3 European Championship after starting from pole in Race 3 ahead Esteban Ocon (Prema Powerteam). The Dutchman quickly built up a lead but his efforts were in vain following the interruption of the race following an accident notably involving Tom Blomqvist (Team West-Tec F3). Nevertheless, the son of the former pilot of F1 managed to maintain the advantage until the finish.

Esteban Ocon nevertheless achieved a very good performance since his new podium allowed him to further increase his lead in the Championship even if his teammate Antonio Fuoco followed him in third position after putting a lot of pressure on the French driver. The Italian took advantage of Felix Rosenqvist (Mücke Motorsport) going off the track to climb into the top three. Lucas Auer (Mücke Motorsport) took the lead over Antonio Giovinazzi (Jagonya Ayam with Carlin) who completed the top five ahead of Jake Dennis (Carlin). The Briton made a superb comeback from 19th place on the grid.

Esteban Ocon will arrive with a lead of 76 points over Antonio Fuoco and Tom Blomqvist at the Pau Grand Prix next week.
