F3 – Camara and Stroll on pole at Imola
Sergio Sette Camara (Motopark) and Lance stroll (Prema Powerteam) will start from pole in the last two races of the F3 European Championship in Imola (Italy).
The Brazilian was the fastest in the second qualifying session, posting a time of 1'36''138 while preceding his closest opponent, teammate Joel Eriksson, by more than two tenths.
Lance Stroll took third position in Race 2, but the Championship leader will start in the lead in Race 3 after setting the fastest second lap ahead of Callum Ilott (Van Amesfoort Racing) and George Russell (HitechGP), then that Sergio Sette Camara will only start from fifth row.
The Canadian is fast approaching the title since his direct opponent and teammate Maximilian Günther, outside the points during Race 1, only took 6th and 4th position.
Anthoine Hubert (Van Amersfoort Racing) will start from ninth position in both races after claiming fifth place in the first.
