F3 – Esteban Ocon with Prema

After two seasons in Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, Esteban Ocon will discover in 2014 the F3 with René Rosin's stable. The Frenchman, member of Junior Lotus F1 Team, had successfully participated in the Macau meeting at the end of last year with a very good 10th place after a complicated race, where he had initially stalled on the grid. His first stint in F3 (apart from that of Snetterton in the English F3 Cup) therefore convinced Prema.

“When we evaluated the young drivers for the 2014 season, we had no doubts about Ocon. He has proven his talent throughout his career. » explains René Rosin. “This impression was confirmed during the weekend in Macau, where he gradually improved his pace and achieved a top 10 in one of the toughest city races in the world. I really think Ocon will be a favorite in the European F3 series.”

European F3 will begin on April 20 at Silverstone in England, before making a stopover from May 9 to 11 in Pau for the famous French round in the streets of the Pau city.
