F3 – Felix Rosenqvist and George Russell shine

Starting from pole position in race 1, Felix rosenqvist had pocketed the first race of the year in the European Championship F3 this morning on the Silverstone track in England. The Prema Powerteam driver was also one of the great entertainers of the second round run this afternoon. Downgraded following non-compliance discovered on its car After the second qualifying session yesterday, Rosenqvist was forced to start in last position.

A handicap partly overcome this Saturday since the Swede made an impressive comeback in the peloton, finishing in 7th place. It's the British George Russell (Carlin) who wins after having taken off better than the poleman Charles Leclerc. The Van Amersfoort Racing driver finally finished in 2nd position just ahead of Antonio Giovinazzi (Jagonya Ayam with Carlin).

In the French clan, Brandon Maïsano (Prema Powerteam) finished 5th and precedes Alex Albon (Signature). Less successful was his teammate Dorian Boccolacci, caught in a collision at the very end of the event. The third and final race of the weekend will begin tomorrow at 10:15 a.m. French time.
