F3 – Felix Rosenqvist wins the Macau Grand Prix

The Guia track in Macau will have once again offered a Grand Prix F3 very lively. The first round of the 2014 edition will remain as the highlight of the event, with a collective clash, initiated by a first contact between the French Esteban Ocon and the British Tom Blomqvist. The European F3 champion and the son of the world champion WRC 1984 had already touched at the first corner, before a new contact sent them into the barriers at the next corner, leading to a real pile-up. The red flag was displayed to clear the numerous cars involved.

At the restart, the two Mücke Motorsport cars of Felix Rosenqvist and Lucas Auer competed for first place, the Swede finally winning after a failed braking by the Austrian. Nick Cassidy (T-Sport) also benefited, but Auer finally took second place at the end of the race after another battle. Roberto Merhi (Double R Racing) takes 4th place ahead Nicholas latifi (Prema). Stefano Coletti (Eurointernational) ranks 6th ahead of the Dutchman Max Verstappen (Van Amersfoort Racing), who notably took advantage of the first lap crash to move up from 24th to 7th place in the final.
