F3 – Hitech GP completes its crew with Jake Hughes

After Ralf Aron and Nikita mazepin, it is the turn of Jake Hughes to be confirmed within Hitech GP for the 2017 season of the F3 European Championship. The Briton made his debut in the discipline by competing in the 2016 final in Hockenheim (Germany) with Carlin, securing a podium in the final race of the season.

He also took 6th place for his first start at the Macau Grand Prix (China) last November. His main program was based on the GP3 Series where he finished in 8th place with Dams.

“I loved every minute of testing in the car and we did a fantastic job with all the guys on the team, welcomed the 22-year-old Briton. I have always considered F3 to be a high-ranking discipline. We have a lot of time on the track and we can stand out among people who have influence. Even though it will be my first full season in F3, I feel we will be competitive. I will be competing against riders who will be in their 2nd year, but I will do my best to be a contender. »
