F3 – Jehan Daruvala opens his account at the Norisring

Jehan Daruvala took advantage of the poor start of Maximilian Günther (Prema Powerteam) from pole position to take the lead. In the middle of the pack, tempers quickly heated up between Pedro Piquet (Van Amersfoort Racing) and Mick Schumacher (Prema Powerteam) until the German climbed onto the wheel of the first and was forced to retire.

After a brief implementation of the Full Course Yellow procedure, the drivers resumed their progress with Max Günther in the Daruvala exhausts. The battle for the podium was also launched behind between Lando Norris (Carlin) and Jake Hughes (Hitech GP). The rookie took the advantage before falling on Ralf Aron (Hitech GP) for third place.

Behind the top 5, the two Motopark single-seaters of David Beckmann and Joel Eriksson follow in the standings under the checkered flag and precede Ferdinand Habsburg (Carlin), Callum Ilott (Prema Powerteam) and Nikita mazepin (Hitech GP) which enter the top 10.
